This can cause a faction to continously get free units if their cities/castles are besieged. Garrison scripts These give the AI reinforcements in certain cities/castles if they don't have 20 units in there. This goes for AI and you, so if you want to cripple a nasty AI faction, take their capital city and you should be fine. Population growth in vanilla TATW is real f*ing slow.

Some villages take an entire game to grow, so get your generals out of there and focus on capital cities for your main income. Even if you give yourself 10 florins, you give all AI factions x10 (somewhere around that) of what you give yourself, meaning that you'll only make it more difficult for yourself in the long run because they will crank out armies to obliterate you.

However, before you install and play any of the submods it is recommended that you've played atleast a couple of campaigns in TATW.ĭon't use money or population cheat.

Which is fairly simple to grasp.Īlso, keep in mind that TATW is meant to be played on Very Hard/Very Hard and that the mod is unstable in certain areas (due to the old age of the mod) and that newer submods, like MoS and DaC (browse Moddb if you want to know more about them) have fixed many of the issues that come with vanilla TATW. There's nothing else in the game mechanics aside from the culture requirements for units. can I get used to the game mechanics lol. That helped a lot and the mod works perfectly. I would like to know if it actually worked or if it was a total waste of time but. I am unsure if that would actually work so.

exe it went to the Medieval Total War II loading screen so. I tested it without the Third Age mod installed and it brought up that message once when I renamed it Kingdoms.exe but when i removed. I am unsure that it actually works because. I am kinda in the middle of re-downloading Third Age and wanted to know if copying the medieval2 application and renaming it actually worked because. I have downloaded and re-downloaded Third Age a few times, along with Medieval Total War and Kingdoms as well but still. Steam users probably know what I mean by that and seeing that is kinda annoying and really depressing. It's quite obvious from the title that I am having trouble with third age and have checked other forums that I could find that help with the downloading of Third age and a few that deal with "Kingdoms.exe is not found" blah blah blah.
